So I had a little bit of trouble working with the wikidot this week; between midterms and trying to learn wikidot on the fly, I’ve already hit some complications. Let me start this off by saying that there’s nothing up from the last time I posted an update. I have the drafts, I have the articles saved, but nothing is posted. I was having some trouble in getting it in the right format, doing proper syntax, and making sure all the links worked, along with trying to fit this in along all of the studying I’ve been doing this past week. I think I’m going to experiment a little bit tomorrow, look up the wikidot codes, and experiment a little more so I know what I need to do. My goal is to have at least two of the three pages up tomorrow and have most of the syntax down.
I think I’m going to include a side topic of sorts; how to take good notes to help you pass and remember what the teachers were talking about. When I’m just looking up study methods, there’s a few things, and not very many are scholarly sorts. This way, I can be a little more inclusive with my posts/research/experiments, and I’ll have a broader spectrum of material for people to read.
To be honest, I’m not so sure that I’ll find very many research papers or the like on the subject – at least, nothing so specifically targeting that one area. I might just have to source from other blogs or more commercial sites, but I don’t think my overall effect of the wiki will change.
I’ll make another update whenever I get my pages up, send out a tweet, all that fun stuff, so I’ll keep you posted readers!
